Züri, as the locals call the largest city in Switzerland, inhabits the northwestern point of its eponymous lake. Founded by the Romans two millennia ago, German is the primary language for its 400,000 plus inhabitants. French, Italian, and Romansh are also spoken there as well as many other languages as nearly a third of its denizens are from elsewhere.
